On a less celebratory note, I was thinking about the economy, the likelihood of another depression, and the prophecies in the book The Fourth Turning. Strauss and Howe initially thought that 9-11 was the crisis for this cycle but later said that is was not and that the crisis was likely to be economic. I really think that is the case, I hope I am wrong but I think our nation deserves a recession if not a depression. I think it will get worse.
