A holly wreath could not be had this year but I am very pleased with the replacement. In fact I like it so much more than the traditional holly.
12 1/2 feet of a Christmas tree. The best tree yet. We had the prettiest tree ever a few years ago but this one is tall and skinny and fits just right. We don't have to squeeze by to get into the hall. It was heavy, very heavy.
I just love dollar store decorations don't you?

The hanging crocheted snowflakes are beautiful
but really hard to take a picture of.
I just can't convey the feel of the snowflakes and how they spin with every breeze. Everyone loves them.
The papier-mâché Father Christmas my mom made last year and the "Babushka" matryoshka dolls Moose bought me for our very first Christmas.
Merry Christmas!

Beautiful! How many snowflakes did you get done?
I am finally making Duncan a stocking like the rest of the family's--he came along considerably after I'd finished the first 6--and am halfway done with it. Finally, after 12 years, I can cross that thing to do off the list!
Wow I LOVE the snowflakes! How did you make them? Did you use a certain pattern?
I used 99 Snowflakes by Leisure Arts
I'm curious...will the book page wreath live to see another season?
